One of the things that I love the most about capturing images of children is that you never know what you are going to get! I love the spontaneity of children and the unexpected – they always come up with something way better than I could have imagined! They are curious, they laugh, they are gentle, and sometimes a little feisty. All of these innocent expressions make the best images that are not posed. Combine their expressions with my attention to detail and you have the best possible art pieces you will treasure!
A Comfortable Experience
When children and parents are comfortable, that’s when the magic happens! So we take all the time we need during my sessions, including frequent breaks when needed. I never schedule my sessions so tight that we can’t take as much time as we want to ensure a relaxed experience.
We meet ahead of time to discuss clothing, hair, nails, etc. When clients come prepared, it makes the experience more pleasant for everyone. This ensures relaxation during the session and genuine expressions. I want my clients to have great memories of their session as well as beautiful portaits!
